Comment:  I am a recent alumnae and while I understand the rankins from the past, I have a lot of faith in our newest pledge classes and the girls we will recruit in the upcoming recruitment and for the next few years. The reason we've had to COB is NOT because we don't have enough members... It is because we have an extremely strict nationals that makes us go up to TOTAL. That's 111 freshmen for us right now which is really difficult to deal with (any chapter can relate to that). It also means that our hard work and improvement in grades over the past few years took a hit with so many new members. We are recruiting more based on looks and we understand where we are at and where we want to be. We are also getting rid of members who are bringing us down grade-wise and socially --we are making cuts per national standards but we are enforcing them (something the seniors when I was a freshman DEFINITELY didn't do). It has been a long road but we're focused on improvement.
