Comment:  freshmen in the fall. I am really confused about going through Rush or not? I have always heard great things about DDD - as well as other sororities at USM - But I am not a party girl. I like to hang out with my friends, but not to get drunk. If I go through, will there be other girls like me? Will I be pressured to do things I am not ready to do? I almost wish I would not have heard about this site, and just lived in my small world in thinking that a sorority is about building great friendships - not going out and getting drunk and in the process having to live with the shame of getting a ticket. The reason I choose not to drink is because my best friend was killed by a drunk driver - I would never want to put someone's life on the line because of my poor choices! If these girls are leaders, they should know better! What were you thinking? If these are the kind of girls making the improtant decisions for each chapter - then maybe this is not for me????!!!!
