Comment:  "you kept girls in the basement" um, im not even in pi phi, but i can tell you this comment is coming from a really stupid, uneducated freshman girl. during recruitment, you NEED certain girls to be "administrators" and to run the entire thing. so yes, our house had girls in the basement too.
