Comment:  I’m a parent of a Phi Mu, so I have a different perspective than most reviewers. I’ve visited campus quite a bit over the past three years and gotten to know a lot of the Phi Mu’s at GCSU. I’ve been so impressed with the girls and the bond they share. I did not want my daughter involved in Greek life and thought it was a waste of money, but I’m so glad she convinced me otherwise. It truly is a sisterhood. These are lifelong friendships being formed. It’s not just about having a social life in college. It’s also taught my daughter about responsibility and how to be a leader. As far as some of the comments about Phi Mu’s not being nice or talking about others, Yik Yak clearly shows that girls from every sorority talk about every other sorority. I don’t think you can single out one sorority because it is something that happens with each of them. My advice to anyone reading these reviews is to meet with each sorority. See which one feels like home to you. Please don’t prejudge these girls off what is said in these reviews.
