Reports often highlight excessive partying, lack of community engagement, and a culture that prioritizes superficial status over genuine relationships. Many members seem more focused on social clout than fostering camaraderie or academic success. SAMMY chapters have also faced accusations of hazing and rule violations, damaging their credibility. With limited involvement in philanthropic efforts and a disregard for fostering positive campus culture, SAMMY falls short of the ideals that should define a constructive fraternity experience.
