Comment:  I’ve met a lot of Aphi girls, and they’re actually super nice and social and incredibly involved in the community. I feel like social media just plays a role in their reputation on campus, but a lot of the negativity surrounding Aphi’s reputation on campus honestly probably has to do more with the internalized misogyny that is a greater issue on campus. If these girls are pretty and popular and outgoing, they must be terrible, right? Esp since we’re all coming from different high schools but I’ve realized that they’re at wpi for a reason. It almost seems like everyone I have met on campus has said bad things about Aphi, but has specifically also said that they know someone in Aphi who doesn’t fit the narrative that they are spreading. From personal experience, I’ve honestly never met an aphi that wasn’t fun to be around
