Comment:  I never considered sorority life, until some of my friends started to get involved. I went through recruitment totally blind, with no previous bias and found ZTA to be my perfect fit. The chapter allows me to stay academically focused while also providing me with opportunities for leadership and friendship. They believe in all their PNMs and a lot of leadership positions were held by new mems. These girls inspire me so much, they are all so smart and well spoken. The professional and personal advice I have received has been critical to my growth at UC. I will say that it is pretty relaxed and there are minimal rules/expectations. This can have its pros and cons; however, I do believe it is what you make of it. You have to be willing to put in the work if you want to grow in ZTA. I also think a lot of the older reviews do not reflect where the chapter is now. After joining, I can tell how much effort the older girls and the advisors have put in to strengthen the chapter. Overall, my experience has been positive, and I can't wait for recruitment!
