Comment:  A student should question why they need to spend time and energy on joining this group. Brotherhood as a concept is a great thing but in reality it is fragile and inconsistent at Phi Delta Theta. After completing rituals and joining, I don't believe that the initial promises given to entice me to join have been fulfilled. A majority of alumni do not keep in touch with the house or each other. People who have given an oath to this organization do not follow the tenants that are preached. If you are considering going Greek, ask not only what you can do for the house but what the house can do for you.
