Comment: I didn't originally want to rush because of the negative stereotypes of Greek life but when I went to AXO on Day1 of recruitment, I felt so relieved. The girls made me feel right at home by offering me water, making sure I was okay mentally with how hard rush is, and even gave me a trigger warning when they spoke about their philanthropy. These girls never spoke poorly about any sorority on the row (versus other girls in other houses speaking poorly about other sororities during rush) and were the only house that seemed genuinely interested in who I was as a person, not just as a pledge going through rush. They also are super academically involved and have a bunch of girls in leadership around campus, which is something I really was worried about going into rush because I wanted to make sure school stayed a priority. The AXOs always made me feel safe and comfortable with who I was even though I am not in their house- the most genuine, kind girls on the row!! I stay friends with the AXOs because of how much I love them.
