Comment: Sorry if this is long, I want to give my honest opinion. Out of all of the sororities I met during rush, the TriDelts were by far the most friendly, easy to talk to & seemed like they genuinely wanted to get to know who we were. That's no disrespect to any of the other sororities because they all seemed great & fun, but it became super easy to tell which sisters wanted to be at the events and which felt forced to be there (you can always tell when someone is just going through the motions with you, either because they don't really care about getting to know you, or they have no interest in you, or because they just really, really don't wanna be there because they had better things to do (which hey, I get, the whole process seems super draining & exhausting for them, so it's gotta deplete all of their mental bandwidth, so no judgment from me on that) but, if you know that you have a tendency to get that way in social situations, then maybe you shouldn't volunteer/pick girls to represent your sorority in these type of situations if they're like that, because from our perspective it didn't feel welcoming. With the TriDelts, nothing felt forced or fake with a single one of them. Each time we saw them again, they all seemed so genuinely happy to see us! No matter how tired or drained they may have felt, they never let on that they felt that way, which made us all feel warm, welcome and wanted by them. It seemed like all of the girls rushing were vibing with the TriDeltas (which tbh, kinda scared me because it meant there was gonna be a lot of competition for the open slots, because it seemed like we all were gonna put TriDelta in our #1 or #2 spot). I gotta be honest, though, when I first thought about rushing at all, TriDelta was hitting mid level on my list of all sororities (TJ they weren't top 3, only because I didn't really know antything about them), but once I started meeting everyone, my list flipped around and they went straight to the top and permanently stayed there. Honestly, I really had hoped I'd get those same warm & fuzzy vibes from the other sororities as well, so it would be a tougher decision, but I didn't. I'm not sure any of us did (not gonna list names, but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out which ones I mean). Another thing I love is that they work so closely with St. Judes! Sorry to ramble on, I promise I'm almost done. Unfortunately, I had to withdraw during rush because of a family emergency at home, but I can't wait to be able to rush next year and hopefully become a TriDelta!
