Their charade of elusiveness and exclusivity is what makes them appear to be desirable to pledges and girls. Friendships in beta aren’t deep because pledgeship is brutal and objectively weird. Pledges are so abused that no real connections are ever created… unless you consider the elephant walk a real connection. All they are really able to bond over is daddy’s money and the fact that michelob ultra is secretly their favorite drink. In their newest pc expect boys who will only seem attractive after you know their parents income.
