Comment:  Both of my dads were Betas at UGA, so naturally I was interested ;). I'm a second year and my freshman year I didn't think rushing was my thing. But my DPhiE friend from gender studies class suggested rushing for Beta after how nice and generous they were at their many socials. I'm SO GLAD I decided to rush Beta. As the first fraternity to be actively seeking a male sweetheart, I was instantly pulled in by the beautiful tolerance exuded by this fine group of strong men, both biological and in spirit. The nightly phone call circle and weekly inclusion seminars are great booster of brotherhood and acceptance!!! The kissing ritual before socials is also a great morale booster. My favorite house cat is Sprinkles- I love petting his tender fur! My favorite social was the DTD social at church!!!! Rushing (and now pledging) Beta is the best decision I have ever made! I'll leave you with my favorite line from our Titanic watch party: "I'll never let go <3".
