Comment:  One of my closest friends in Panhellenic life is a DZ so I feel like I can offer a different perspective than most. They are 100% top tier and are one of the most sought sororities after during rush. Extremely popular, the Alpha status does apply. However, the sisterhood is so-so. Some of them are really close and adore each other. On the other hand, there are a few bad apples who are cliquey and status-focused. That being said, as a woman from another sorority they are very approachable have always made me feel welcome when I'm over their house or when we're out. They are friendly and personable when interacting with them on campus. Besides that, DZ has an incredible philanthropy and their POTH event is the biggest of the year in that regard. They definitely care about their hearing and deaf awareness charities. I would recommend Delta Zeta to a friend that was rushing. But, only as long as they know how to work to find the sincere and kind people in the largeness of their group.
