Comment: I'm a mom and I wanted to share my thoughts on the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity at Missouri S&T. I was initially hesitant about my son joining a fraternity, but after learning more about Pike, I've been pleasantly surprised. First of all, the sense of brotherhood among these young men is truly heartwarming. My son has found a group of friends who support and look out for each other like family. They study together, help one another with challenges, and provide a strong support system away from home. I've also been impressed by their commitment to giving back to the community. It's clear that Pike values making a positive impact. Seeing my son engage in volunteer work and philanthropic activities with his fraternity brothers has shown me that they care about more than just themselves. Academically, I've noticed that being part of Pike has encouraged my son to take his studies seriously. The fraternity promotes a culture of learning and offers resources to help members succeed in their studies. As a mom, this is very reassuring. Lastly, I appreciate that Pike balances their responsibilities with social activities. They organize events that allow the members to relax and have fun, fostering friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. Overall, as a mom, I've seen my son grow, learn, and become a responsible young man through his experience with Pi Kappa Alpha at Missouri S&T. It's been a positive and enriching journey for him, and I'm grateful for the fraternity's positive influence on his life.
