Comment:  I went to an event with a friend just so she didn't go alone, I had no intention on joining. When we entered they were all extremely nice and I explained my situation I wasn't planning on joining and that didn't seem to stop them from being so kind to me still. I ended up joining later on because even when I said I wasn't going to join it never stopped them from being great human beings towards me. I really felt at home and was always surrounded by some very supportive future best friends. I brought some non-greek friends to an event later on and they were extremely kind to them as well even though they weren't planning on joining either!
