Comment:  I use to be a member and this is truly one of the most toxic environments I have ever been a part of. Built on a major hierarchy system where the upperclassmen think that they are literal gods. People are nasty to each other and we would be screaming at each other in chapter meetings.They evict people who don’t have enough “points” to live out junior year but don’t want to live in again. In 2019, they evicted 8 girls despite the fact that they only signed one year contracts that ended before the next school year. There was no legal grounds to do such a thing, so they told the girls since they were terminating their memberships, they were banned from the property and if they returned they would be trespassing. Their reason for terminating people was that they were “not upholding the sisterhood values”, but what’s sisterly about kicking someone out of a house that they can’t afford for two years? They threatened to actually go to court if anyone fought the eviction with lawyers to get their money back for the rest of the year and permanently put it on in peoples records that they had been evicted so that they would have trouble finding places to live in the future. Just absolutely evil. This was in the middle of a term during week 8 (when people usually have midterms) and gave them 6 days notice to leave the premises. Alpha Phi also has one of the worst chefs of all time and the food is nearly inedible. They also have a risk system that is so messed up I can’t even describe it. Please avoid this house, you will end up with more enemies than friends and most likely face evictions. And for the love of god, DO NOT SIGN ANY HOUSING CONTRACTS WITH THEM.
