Comment:  I had a weird experience with aphi when I rushed fall 20. I absolutely could not get anything but a surface level convo out of all but ONE girl I talked to (I had aphi almost every day of recruitment). I even tried asking explicitly “below the surface” questions to see if I could get to know the girls, but it was all very fluffy and had no substance. Some of the aphi girls I’ve met are AMAZING - every house has talented, beautiful, fun women - but I’d be cautious if you’re really looking for a house culture that centers around acceptance and deep relationships/sisterhood (there’s a reason it’s so hard for them to keep members)
