Comment:  alpha phi is known for keeping girls until right before pref and then dropping them. its called dirty rushing. during recruitment, I felt a connection to their philanthropy because they all seemed super involved in it, but then once I got my bid I realized it was all for show. none of them actually care about it. These girls also fully hate each other and have the highest drop rate ever (not surprising). also, if you're chosen to live in the house and you say you don't want to, you are forced to drop the chapter! I was given a bid (probably only because I'm blonde and have an eating disorder) but then I dropped a couple months in because I realized alpha phi is just mean girl central.
