Comment:  I am one of the recently initiated sisters having only joined in the fall/winter of 2021, and might I just say, joining APP was one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. I've heard that this sorority unfortunately went through a pretty bad rough patch before I joined which is awful, and I honestly had no idea about it until we all gathered the other night to talk about all that it's been through. It breaks my heart to hear how this organisation used to be and how it made the girls who were a part of it feel, but it also makes me that much more thankful and proud of how unbelievably far it's come. Obviously, we're not yet perfect. It takes a while to completely recover when things go wrong, and we still need to bridge the communication gap between our actives, distant sisters and alum... That being said, the sisterhood pillar has undergone such an amazing transformation since our current girl became president. She's got a huge task on her hands when it comes to turning this sorority into what it's supposed to be, and it's really difficult, but she's trying her best and in my opinion she's doing a really solid job. With her and the help from the other girls on exec, Beta Chapter has went from what it was previously known as to feeling like a family, as cliche as that sounds. We're a work in progress... and we have a ways to go when it comes to recovering from our past, but we love each other a lot and as far as I'm concerned, that is the most important thing and a really big step in the right direction.
