Comment:  Fifty years ago on this date, December 12, 1971, the University of Montevallo Colony of Lambda Chi Alpha ( Formerly Chi Alpha Tau) was born. The Lambda Chi Alpha chapters from Auburn, Alabama, Samford, and Birmingham Southern were involved in this initiation. This began a year long journey to meet the Lambda Chi Alpha’s national requirements to becoming a formal chapter. Happy Fiftieth Golden Anniversary and Congratulations Sigma-Epsilon Zeta! Here’s wishing you many many more great years on the Montevallo campus.
