Comment:  Beta was a new fraternity in the early-mid 2000s when I was at SLU, and at that time, they were actually not a “cool” fraternity at all since they were fairly new, they were a bunch of smart guys who cared about studying a lot, seemed to have a good brotherhood, and were extremely friendly to everyone, acted like gentlemen. The top frat houses at SLU between 2000-2010 were Pikes, Sigma Chi, Delta Sigs, and Phi Kaps (I realize that most of these fraternities don’t exist at SLU anymore.) The Betas were very mid tier, along with Phi Delt, SAE, and Sig Eps.
