Comment:  When I initially came to DU I felt very overwhelmed and unprepared for the social / party scene. I didn't go to a lot of parties during my last couple years in high school so I was very unsure about possibly joining a sorority this year. My friends have been talking about the stereotypes of the different sororities on campus so I was pretty certain I was going to stay as far away from Alpha Phi as possible. However, I have meet multiple different girls in Alpha Phi now and they have not only made me feel so welcome, they have made me want to rush. I am more excited than ever now to go out and hang out with these girls. I hope people actually will make an effort to talk with them, because once you get to know them, they truly make you feel wanted.
