Comment:  Sigma Alpha at SIUC has done a great job at building itself up in less than a year. In fact, they had a recruitment class of 18 last spring, the top GPA last semester, and they received various national awards. As a professional sorority on campus, they're hard to compare to others, however, they have done a variety of community service, participated in Greek and non-greek events on campus, maintained impressive academic standings, and they've grown closer together as sisters. You might not think you've seen a Sigma Alpha at a social, however, that's just because they're not allowed to drink in letters! Sigma Alpha seems to be a very valuable experience for its members.
