Comment:  I was a gamma phi beta, and went through recruitment thinking I was living the dream. After I dropped, nobody wanted to maintain friendships with me, and when I was in the friendships were all clearly surface level. If you want a genuine sorority, this is not it. If you want to be surrounded by fake girls who only care about Instagram posts & gray parties… then this is your place. You have one chance with recruitment, don’t make choices about perceived popularity. Instead choose people who choose & value you.
