Comment:   i am a former theta who made lifelong best friends here, but i will say if you have options to join another sorority besides theta, you should take them. i joined theta because i rushed as an upperclassmen with a low gpa and i had few other options. theta seemed alright at the time. as i soon learned, theta is filled with a bunch of jealous, vindictive girls who do not want to see others succeed. i was accomplished on LSU’s campus and held leadership positions in several orgs and it seemed like the more I became popular around campus, the more the girls in my own sorority resented me. theta is filled with girls who are used to being disliked and they don’t want to make their own chapter better. if they see a girl succeeding, they want to drag them down, make fun of them and basically take them down to their level. if you are at all attractive, fun to be around or have any good qualities avoid joining this chapter of theta because you will be bullied by girls who hate to see other girls succeed.
