Comment:  ADPi is a great sorority if you’re looking for good friends. Although this chapter may not be extremely involved on campus, all the women I’ve met have been extremely nice. I’ve heard many good things about adpi’s strong sisterhood, and that it’s hard to gain in other houses. What makes adpi stand out is the connection with the other girls. They didn’t join for the sorority status, but to make friends (which is the whole point). If you’re looking for a house that keeps their sisterhood at the top of their priorities, choose adpi. Being in a sorority is not about looks, or being “popular,” because once you leave college, your popularity doesn’t matter. Adpi is a very tight knit group, which you won’t see from other chapters. The whole point of joining a sorority is to make friends, so you either pick the friends who are “rich,” “pretty,” and “snobby,” or you choose a chapter like adpi where they don’t care about your status and only your character. If you join chapters based off hearsay, then you’re ruining the experience for yourself. Always keep an open mind and choose the chapter that fits you the best. Don’t choose chapters that you feel you have to change yourself in order to fit in. I promise you won’t regret it.
