Comment: I think most of the people actually looking at these ratings are people who are interested in rushing. I think those of you going through recruitment deserve an honest opinion of each sorority at Uconn. What I will say is that these girls are mostly all the same. They come from middle class to upper middle class white families. This is not a diverse sorority by any means, and neither is greek life as a whole at Uconn. They don't like people who deviate from their very conservative and narrow idea of what women should look like and act like. They care more about the perception of the sorority as a whole than the experience of an individual in the sorority and how they are experiencing "sisterhood". You are either in or out, no in between. Cliques are developed the first day you become a potential new member. All sororities at Uconn are like this. There is not a "sisterhood" there are influential groups and there are groups that follow. Most girls are quite shallow, or maybe I just didn't get to know many of them well. I never felt compelled to get to know any of these girls better, which speaks for itself. Lastly, they do cover things up for the sake of their perception, not of the members.
