Comment:  I’ve met a lot of Aphi girls, and they’re actually super nice and social and incredibly involved in the community. Yeah, social media does play a role in their reputation on campus, but a lot of the negativity surrounding Aphi’s reputation on campus honestly probably has to do more with the internalized misogyny that is a greater issue on campus. If these girls are pretty and popular and outgoing, they must be terrible, right? It almost seems like everyone I have met have said bad things about Aphi, but has specifically also said that they know someone in Aphi who doesn’t fit the narrative that they are spreading. My freshman year CA is an Aphi and one of the coolest, and I’ve only met friendly people from my personal experience.
