Comment:  So I don’t go to Syracuse, I’m a senior from a different org at another school, but my little sister is a freshman at Syracuse and told me the most disgusting story that happened to her involving this sorority. My sister and her friends heard about a party and decided to go, apparently it was a dirty rushing party for tri delt, but supposedly they didn’t know it was until after the fact. They were having a great time playing games and stuff when all of a sudden some girl came up to them, SPIT on my sister’s friend, yelled at her saying that they didn’t like her and told her to get out. My sister and her friends were of course very confused especially since they didn’t know it was a dirty rush party, so they just decided to ignore the girl, but then the girl tried to fight them so they left. As a Panhellenic sister, this absolutely disgusts me that an org would treat a pnm or ANY person like this. Not only is it absolutely classless, it’s just plain stupid. The former tri delt chapter at my school lost their charter a few years ago for attitudes and behavior like this. I think my sister’s experience says a lot about the sisterhood and culture of this chapter of tri delt at Syracuse. Just a bunch of classless and mean girls that care more about popularity than sisterhood. Trust me, don’t join a chapter like this unless you want to be absolutely miserable for the rest of your college experience.
