Comment:  KD does raise a lot of money for campus golf, but I personally don't think the event would be half as successful as it is if it weren't basically a day drink event for the entire campus. Nearly all of the participants show up intoxicated, and my friend in KD told me that the sisters are lectured at meetings as to how to specifically deal with drunk golf teams. The other sororities' philanthropies do not revolve around drinking, so it makes sense that not as many people come to them. The bottom line is, if people have an excuse to drink all day, they'll do it. Campus Golf is a perfect example.
