University: University of Michigan Ann Arbor - UMGreek Organization: Alpha Phi

Comment: What do you need to know about a phi: everyone THINKS they want to be one. if you are "lucky" enough to call yourself one, you will never be short of boys. these girls truly are the "whole package" yet they lack any substance. they may be pretty and fun, yet they hate each other. they aren't friends and try to tear each other down to get where they need to be. Their whole ranking is based on how blonde or skinny you are which is not how rush should be (true---there is a whole article written from THEIR OWN rush chair about it). Alpha phi is a top house because they will sleep with every boy to get there. They are popular for dressing in a few of clothes as possible and making sure their MCs are skinny. These girls truly are not friends to have nor are they even friends at all. I found that yes they may be popular, but popularity does not last forever. After freshman year no one cares that you are in alpha phi and normally that means they will stay away from you. guys actually consider them fun because they know they can get them into bed yet would never bring one home to meet their mom. I find this house to truly be unfortunate because they give off a message that it is okay to be pretty because that will get your far in life. Many girls in this house suffer from disorders brought on by other girls. I would never want to be an alpha phi even through during rush you may be wowed for an instant. Look past the picture they paint during the rounds and see if you see girls that have any form of an intelligent conversation with you or each other. you won't.
