University:  University of Colorado Boulder - UCB

Greek Organization:  Phi Mu

Author:  PleaseDont

Comment:  I was part of the founding class for phi Mu. I was very excited about the opportunity and knew I wanted to join when they announced Phi Mu was coming to the Cu campus last summer. I accepted my bid and instantly I became a nobody amongst the 200+ girls. Only the ones that were super outgoing got attention, and most of the “pretty” girls and popular ones are the ones that got attention (look at their exec board, it’s all those ones.) SO many girls get overlooked in this sorority. No one knew who I was so instead of finding a group so welcoming and a place on campus, I felt more like an outcast and uncared for which actually led to me dropping out. If you don’t want to take my word for how they favor only a handful of girls, I’d highly suggest going through their Instagram. They post the same girls over and over and over again (you’ll see what I mean I promise). They started to attempt to post new girls when I called them out on it but that didn’t last for super long. The last thing I want to say is once I dropped Phi Mu I was harassed and bullied via DMs on Instagram to take the letters out of my bio...why can’t I keep them if I was initiated? It’s like they want no trace to me being apart of the sorority. PNMs—please please please be cautious of this group of girls. I personally wish I had gone tri delt rather than Phi Mu. These girls are a sad excuse of a sorority
