Comment:  For a sorority that puts such an emphasis on sisterhood, it could not be further from the truth. Coming into the sorority, everyone seems so kind and supportive but that quickly goes away. There are tight cliques that like to criticize every other sister behind their backs. People will turn on each other for no reason and treat sisters like outcasts. It got to the point where sisters stopped bothering to pretend to be nice and were outright cruel. What once was an exciting and wonderful group of people turned into a hostile environment. Plus, once you are out of the sorority, the few girls that still tried to be nice cut you out too. One of the most hurtful experiences of my life.
