Comment:  Just because this house is a top tier house, it doesn’t mean you should be aiming to join it. Top tier only represents historic popularity and how others in the past have viewed them. This house is very toxic. I know of girls who were belittled by older members their actual first day there. I know of girls who wanted to drop until the very end of second semester when they “got used to it.” You should not have to get used to the conditions of your house. The sisterhood is poor because the sisters themselves are mean. I have yet to meet one truly genuine and nice Pi Phi, though I know they definitely exist since so many of the girls are miserable with the conditions. So sad. They’re top house but unlike the others who have at least one positive trait to be known by all people know about this house is just how mean they are and have been in the past. I’ve heard they also take pictures of you during one of the later rush week days and are the only house I’ve ever heard of doing so. What a fun way to decide your new sisters.
