Comment:  Coming from a current member, our house is bottom tier 100%. We had so much potential too, but sadly they f’d us over the first year we got back to campus by having the consultants recruit literally anyone. A lot of weird girls got looped into the mix, then the cycle just repeated. Weird girls recruit weird girls. There are girls in this house that want that sorority experience that they were promised but now they’re stuck in this house. Other houses are rude to us and don’t like to associate with us bc of the bad rep. We never have any fun socials or mixers bc 1. We don’t have enough girls 2. Other houses don’t associate 3. Our dues are substantially lower than other houses therefore we simply don’t have the funds. Trust me when I say we have girls that are trying to turn this house around but it’s extremely hard when u can’t exactly make money appear out of nowhere, get rid of our bad rep over night, or have nationals back us up and actually do things that are beneficial to us rather than making us look even more socially inept. We worked so hard for recruitment week last year but we just can’t compete with the houses that are already so established on campus. we’re trying, but I doubt we’ll be on campus for much longer. Greek life at ku is kind’ve tricky bc a lot of the houses on campus only exclusively associate with one another. I wish you guys knew what we were promised. It’s like as soon as one thing starts improving for our house everything else goes to crap.
