Comment: AXO is one of the top houses at ASU... nobody questions that. Their most attractive girls are on par or better than the most attractive girls in any sorority, and they are very popular on campus. However, I would honestly put them as the fourth best sorority (and last top house) here at ASU. They are much less involved with campus activities than the other top houses, and AXO has begun to have a noticeable “B” team. While AXO has absolute dimes, they also have a surprising amount of mid tier girls who are almost assuredly there for the grade boost. This isn’t necessarily bad, but one bad recruiting semester could turn them into the next theta, and that’s not a risk to any of the other top houses at this moment. In terms of involvement, AXO never goes hard in philos, and very sparingly participate in other sorority/fraternity philos. They aren’t necessarily known for their community service, and while these all aren’t deal breakers they do in fact hurt the sorority. If AXO ever wants to ACTUALLY push DZ or PiPhi they need to be much more consistent in their recruiting... DZ and PiPhi (for the most part) don’t have noticeable B teams, and while overall GPA is important, it should not come at the expense of your sorority. These are all very fixable problems, and if AXO simply becomes more involved and tweaks their recruiting they’ll be pushing DZ and PiPhi very soon. This is still a great sorority with great girls, just with some things to work on. Also, before anybody gets mad, I’m doing honest ratings on every sorority (check out DG) so don’t think I’m singling anybody out.
