Comment:  only attempt to join this sorority if you're okay with having to work with a nationals that will not teach you how to run a chapter and will drop surprise, extravagant charges several times a semester. expect zero support from nationals (other chapters are friendlier and willing to help). if you try to reach out to them, you are likely to never be responded to or treated rudely. when we asked for support from nationals (mostly to ask them to stop charging us money), our issues were not addressed for months. when we then wanted to close the chapter because we couldn't support ourselves, we were told that we were essentially terrible and disloyal people who didn't deserve to be a part of the group. at least the sisterhood was nice. this sorority is fine at other schools, but probably not worth it to join at alabama unless you've got nerves of steel.
