Comment:  I read that SAE doesn't have an official pledge program--they initiate people within 4 days of accepting a bid. So you could meet some guy for 30 seconds at a rush BBQ and then 4 days later he's a full-fledged brother. That's just very strange. I'm pretty sure any serial killer could get a bid and then act "normal" enough for the next 4 days...
