Comment:  I just wanted to elaborate on the person below me. Being fairly new definitely isn’t a bad thing, in fact, they’re still building their image so if you join it gives you the chance to mold the reputation/spread the positivity you want rather than being stuck with a bottom tier that has no sign of improvement. Also agree that I should have considered this before going with a sorority I dropped because turns out they just put on a show for recruitment. I’ve had classes with Sigma K girls and they are genuinely sweet.
