Comment:  As a recent grad from this chapter I experienced our growing pains. Yes we had some small problems, there is not a chapter out there that does not. However, we took it in stride and worked collaboratively as a sisterhood to do better in those areas. All of these comments bashing us saying we’re fake, party animals and rude aren’t true. Any Active sister knows how we are, personalities clash yes. But at the end of the day we are each others biggest cheerleaders and show up for each other whenever we need it. Greek life on campus is changing for the better and DPHIE is trying to lead the charge. We have donated thousands to our philanthropies and encourage academics over everything else. Our values and motto mean everything to us and we strive everyday to live by that motto. We regularly check how well we are living up to our values. Sorority was one of the best parts of my college years and this chapter shaped me through the hard work and growing pains but I also learned how to rely on others and work collaboratively in a positive way.. Don’t knock this chapter unless you are in this chapter and see how hard these women work to beat the Greek life stigma and be an exemplary chapter on WSU’s campus.
