Comment: I joined ATO fall of my freshman year. I loved it at first but soon realized none of these guy have goals in life and steered me away from my goals and led me down some bad roads. A few of them are now some of my closest friends but the vast majority are not good people. In spring things went downhill, and all over a girl. I began hanging out with a girl who was an ex of one of the "brothers" and was harassed over it severely, so much so that the president banned me from attending formal because I put that girl as my date to it, they then went and bad mouthed me to her sorority to get us both banned from that as well. Seems bad right? Well it gets better. The "brother" began harassing her as well, and demanded she come to his house alone or else. Then, one night when I was not in a good state of mind (we'll put it that way), he said he was taking me back to my apartment for the night, well he took me to his house and interrogated me about the girl until I told him what he wanted. I called someone to come get me, but this "brother" refused to let me leave. Later that night into the early hours of the morning he kicked me out and said he didn't care if I even made it home. So, still out of it, and at this point hallucinating (I don't know what was in the "water" he gave me) I stumbled to my friends car who came to get me. the messed up part is the president then defended this guys actions and said I deserved it. this ladies and gentleman is the type brotherhood ATO has at FGCU. Save your time and money and rush someone else. I wish I would have rushed KA but hey, we all mess up.
