Comment:  As a current student here, I can say that Pike is definitely a top, if not the top house at Santa Clara and is a name respected by pretty much everyone at this school. I'm not in the fraternity myself, but I have several friends who are and their brotherhood seems like some of the strongest on campus. A few people will try to tell you that Sig Pi is a top house, but Sig Pi is only really focused on the party scene and their brotherhood is pretty weak. Waiting until the winter and rushing one of those houses is definitely the move, it may seem hard to wait that long at times but it's definitely worth it in the end.
