Comment:  There is a lot of internal drama in this house because it’s full of try-hards. I know a handful of girls in this house who I am friends with from other activities on Cal’s campus and they have all had not so nice things to say about this house which almost makes me feel bad for them. Girls literally fight over bids to top houses like it’s the god damn hunger games. I know a handful of girls who decided not to live in because they “couldn’t handle” the drama. This house is also incredibly entitled for no reason at all. I was once in line for a party at DX as security was checking bids. Three girls from alpha phi literally cut to the front and said “were in alpha phi our social chair is xxx” and PUSHED past the brother letting girls though. There is also the entire issue of racism within this house. They have a good number of non-white girls, but tend not to support them or feature them on social media. During recruitment, they only let their “best” aka white members recruit. They chose a pretty exclusively all white pledge class (and no white does not always mean top). When complaints were made to nationals, girls were told the chapter already had enough diversity. Not to mention this chapter dirty rushes, blatantly disregards PHC rules and receives no consequences.
