Comment:  These guys are in a really unfortunate situation in that they are unable to find a good house. It's a shame because there are some good guys, and if they had come a little sooner and got at least one good house, we may be looking at an entirely different zbt. Sadly, all their houses are far which means they can't really throw fun parties as few people want to go that far if there are better parties closer to school. This causes them to be seen as a bottom tier fraternity that isn't really worth joining, so they must resort to bidding in a bunch of weirdos for numbers that further diminish their already mediocre reputation. Definitely a shame for the good guys here, they are in a fraternity that is seemingly going nowhere.
