Comment:  The rise of lambdas has been a bit disappointing to me. I certainly wouldn't say they're "friendly" in the way you might say more traditional, synchronous methods are friendly. They also just waste tons of space. Nonetheless, their dominance is rising. The Lambdas have continued to objectify and devalue RAM in a contest to see who can get the most "connections". Disgusting. Those who are of the lambdas feel strong about them. They go on and on about the future and promises. Garbage: the promises never complete. They associate strongly with node.js and always boot in spring. Unfortunately, I think the lambdas are here to stay. No matter how much memory they spill.
