Comment:  When I was thinking of rushing in the spring I went to one of their recruitment things and felt so uncomfortable and stupid. At the time I didn’t know any sign and while some sisters were understanding of that one sister in particular made me so upset because she told me that I wouldn’t be able to receive a bid unless I knew sign more and even if I did get a bid I would have to spend a lot of extra hours on my own time to learn. This freaked me out. I was looking for a sorority who would be my sisterhood and help me learn and grow as a person. I decided against joining them and found my own friends outside of Greek life and have now learned some sign with them.
