Comment:  Theta tries extremely hard to push back against everything the Greek community knows them to be. They freak out any time someone calls them "the new sorority" even though they've literally only been on this campus 2 semesters and haven't been through a formal recruitment. There's nothing inherently wrong with being new, and it can explain a lot of their behavior, because they're still trying to figure out what being greek on this campus really means. Prime example: the social media thing. They eventually took down those controversial posts because they realized it was a mistake, but learning how to run a chapter instagram is a new skill and they can blame their ignorance on being new at this. They also run around saying "we're not like other girls" rather than creating a unique identity, which is a rookie move, especially considering they're extremely basic. maybe with their new social media chair things will get better.
