Comment:  Don't know what happened to this fraternity. When I left a few years back, this fraternity had a strong brotherhood with many members sharing similar interests. Now however, they just recruit to get numbers and pride themselves in getting the largest pledge class without much regard to the individual. It makes sense because their district leader gets paid based on how many members a chapter recruits. When I recently met with some actives, they reminded me of the old Delta Chi that used to hang out in the basement of the union. Completely unimpressed with them. If you're wanting to go greek, save yourself some time and just avoid Washburn's greek life in general. It seems as though Washburn is slowly fading the system out as different greek organizations have left. What's left are a bunch of try hards who wouldn't even get a bid at a larger school.
