Comment:  These girls put up a great illusion of sisterhood, variety, and uniqueness. They also do a damn good job at recruitment. But, a facade is just that - a facade. They have serious financial problems as a house, and that's ripping their sisterhood apart (in addition to a lot of other issues). They also recruit based on looks, hence they're a very pretty bunch of girls. Now, there are a handful of absolute GEMS in this house. But the reality is that they are overwhelmingly a mishmash of random girls who are divided, don't mesh, and mostly don't get along. They only have 25 or 26 seniors left, meaning over half of the PC has dropped, and only about half of those seniors who are still active are actually involved. This is the trend for every pledge class. Their sophomore class is also a doozy--not classy, not kind, not genuine. But hey, they are hot. Everyone knows this to be truth, including themselves. It's honestly really sad to watch freshmen girls go through recruitment and peg Alpha Phi as a house they want to come back to because in all honesty, the image they've developed is a lie.
