Comment: Honestly, if you were to name a reputable frat within UTD, it'd be Chi Phi. I lived on campus for over a year thinking this bad-boy frat upholds all the stereotypical horror stories in it, but it really doesn't - they're really not that bad. Sure, you'll have a couple of jerks that give it a bad name, but there are many members that easily make their name around because of the good things they do on campus! Of course, they need the mischievous members to plan the good parties. Their small parties are decent, but the larger ones like Goes to Hell are better than the others offered elsewhere from UTD. They can use a bit more organization within their on-campus engagement, though... Overall, for being someone who rejects the idea of being anywhere close to a frat or sorority, I've been welcomed despite being an inactive female student. There's nothing special with me and I grew up hating them at first because of the things I've heard about some of their pitiful members, but I've met amazing people from this fraternity - the networking is totally worth it!
